David Sym-Smith has over 20 years experience with leading companies in the LBS, wireless and mobile media and content delivery markets, including Tele Atlas (now Tom Tom), InnoPath, Command Audio (acquired by iBiquity), Aerial Communications (now T-Mobile), Sprint Spectrum (now Sprint Nextel). His proven results include developing and implementing business strategies that have led to market leadership, rapid growth and strong bottom line results in highly competitive markets, and strong global operational experience in all aspects of business development. As CMO of Tele Atlas David managed global marketing, strategic planning and product development for this leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content. At InnoPath, Mr. Sym-Smith was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development where he instrumental in growing market share to a 60%. Previously as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Command Audio Corporation, he implemented a comprehensive marketing program and led new business development and product strategy. As the Regional President at Aerial Communications, he helped grow the organization from zero to over 200 within the first year, which ultimately led to the Company's acquisition by VoiceStream Communications/T-Mobile. Mr. Sym-Smith has also held senior management positions at CellularOne/AT&T, GTE, St. Gobain (France) and Hay Associates. He holds an M.B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University.
